(2023–Present)
My journey with the Business Economics Association (BEA) began as a general member, followed by a year as Director of Events and Outreach, where I helped launch high-profile speaker series and drove a 100%+ increase in event attendance. Stepping into the role of President, I knew BEA needed more than just programming. It needed a complete rebrand.
Since taking the lead, I’ve worked to transform BEA into UCSC’s central hub for business networking and professional development. I’ve grown our active membership by 500%, doubled our executive board, and built lasting partnerships with Greek organizations like Alpha Kappa Psi and Delta Sigma Pi, as well as other student business clubs. I led a full branding and outreach overhaul, streamlining communication, improving design, and partnering with the Economics Department to amplify our visibility. Our social media, Gmail campaigns, and Discord engagement now reach hundreds of students each quarter. With a balanced slate of professional events and community-focused socials, BEA has not only expanded its reach, but also its relevance.
For me, being president isn’t just about managing operations. It’s about creating space for students to find belonging, build networks, and imagine career paths they didn’t think were possible. That’s the legacy I’m building here and hope to continue for decades to come.
